The Xbox Stereo Headset is Microsoft’s wired headset for voice chat and game audio. It plugs into the 3.5 mm jack on the Xbox Wireless Controller, so there is nothing to pair.
The microphone mutes when you flip it up, and volume is adjusted on the ear cup. The headset also works with other devices that have a 3.5 mm jack.
