Disc or digital – your choice
With the disc drive you play games on disc, borrow from friends and watch films on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. The Digital Edition is for those who buy everything in PlayStation Store – and if you change your mind, Sony’s disc drive can be fitted later.
Your whole library comes along
The PS5 plays a large selection of your PS4 games, so the collection you already own comes back to life. Saves and games are easy to move over from a PS4.

Product FAQ
What is the difference between the versions?
The disc version has a built-in disc drive and 1 TB of storage. The Digital Edition has no disc drive and 825 GB; games are bought and downloaded in PlayStation Store. Sony’s disc drive for PS5 can be fitted to the Digital Edition later.
Can I play my PS4 games?

Is a vertical stand included?

Do I need PlayStation Plus?
Not to play on your own. Online play in most games requires PlayStation Plus (sold separately).
Will it keep playing discs in the future?

Description
PlayStation 5 Slim is the slimmer version of the PS5, with the same power as before in a smaller body that fits even in a tight TV bench. The fast SSD means games start and load new levels in seconds, and the included DualSense controller lets you feel the game through haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Choose the version with a disc drive (1 TB) if you want to play games on disc and watch films on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, or the Digital Edition (825 GB) if you buy your games in PlayStation Store. The Digital Edition can be fitted with Sony’s disc drive later.
The console plays PS5 games and a large selection of PS4 games, and works with accessories for the CFI-2000 model group, such as console covers and the vertical stand.
