Motors with headroom
The motors have 20 % more torque on every axis compared with RS 3 Pro. That gives steadier stabilisation and more precise following with heavy cameras and accessories.
Joystick for zoom or gimbal
Switch the joystick between gimbal movement and zoom. It can control power zoom, Clear Image Zoom or an external Focus Pro Motor – with two motors you control focus with the wheel and zoom with the joystick.
Combo with video transmission
The Combo adds Ronin Image Transmitter, Focus Pro Motor with rod mount, HDMI cables, an extended lower plate and a phone holder.

What is the difference between Standard and Combo?
Standard has the gimbal with BG30 grip, quick-release plate, metal tripod grip, rear handle, extended lens support, cables, screw kit and carrying case. The Combo also has Ronin Image Transmitter, Focus Pro Motor with rod mount and focus gear strap, a USB-C power cable, three short HDMI cables, an extended lower quick-release plate, an extra multi-camera cable and a phone holder.
Which cameras fit?
It depends on the weight and size of the camera and lens. DJI has a camera compatibility list on its website – check it before you buy.
What is the difference between RS 4 Pro and RS 4?
RS 4 Pro carries 4.5 kg instead of 3 kg, has stronger motors, car mode, a BG30 grip instead of BG21 and support for LiDAR focus and DJI Transmission.
Can I take the batteries on a plane?
The batteries are lithium batteries (BG30-batterihandtag). Under 100 Wh they can normally travel in hand luggage, but not in checked baggage. Discharge them to about 30 %, protect the terminals and always check your airline's rules before you travel.

Description
DJI RS 4 Pro is DJI's gimbal for larger cameras and more gear. It carries up to 4.5 kg and has 20 % stronger motors than RS 3 Pro, so it stays stable even with heavy rigs.
It suits solo shooting but can also grow into a wireless system for a team: with DJI Focus Pro, Focus Pro LiDAR and DJI Transmission you get video transmission, focus and camera control. With Focus Pro LiDAR, ActiveTrack Pro can follow subjects with LiDAR support.
The horizontal plate gives built-in vertical mode, the axes are Teflon-coated and the automatic axis locks lock and fold the gimbal. The new car mode adapts stabilisation to vibration and wind when the gimbal is mounted on a car.
The included BG30 grip gives up to 13 hours of run time, and with BG70 (sold separately) up to 29 hours according to DJI.
