No, the HDMI cable is sold separately.
Does it work with iPhone?
Yes, with USB-C iPhones including iPhone 16, 17 and 18 Pro and iPhone Duo. iPhone Air and iPhone 17e are not on Apple's compatibility list.
Do I get sound too?
Yes, the adapter supports both video and audio over HDMI.

Description
With the multiport adapter you connect a Mac, iPad or iPhone with USB-C to a TV, projector or display via HDMI – while keeping a USB port for an accessory and a USB-C port for charging.
On iPhone 16, 17 and 18 Pro and iPad Pro (M4, M5), among others, it shows 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz. It carries both picture and sound, so the film or presentation plays through the TV speakers.
