I recently upgraded my Bip 6 to the Bip Max, and could not be happier. The fit is great, the screen is big and bright. The underlying software is much improved over the Bip 6. I use its ability to control media playback on my phone, the sleep tracking, the easy way to start a workout. Its bigger screen makes it even more readable than the already quite good Bip 6. Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. The watch works with Android 7.0 or later and iOS 15.0 or later. You pair it with Amazfit's Zepp app, where you see workouts, sleep and other data. Some features, such as quick replies to messages, only work with Android.
What is in the box, and how do I charge it?
According to Amazfit the box contains the watch with strap, a magnetic charger with a USB-C port and a user guide. A cable and a power adapter are not included: you plug a USB-C cable you already have into the charger, or pick our braided USB-C cable.
Can I swim with it?
Yes, the watch is water resistant to 5 ATM and has pool and open-water swimming modes. Avoid sauna and hot showers.
Can I pay with Bip Max?
No, Bip Max has no NFC. If you want to pay with the watch, look at Active 3 Premium, Active Max or Balance 3.
How does it differ from Bip 6?
Bip Max has a larger display (2.07" vs 1.97"), a brighter display (up to 3,000 nits vs 2,000) and longer battery life (up to 20 days vs 14, according to Amazfit).
Can the watch replace a doctor or detect illness?
No. The watch is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice. Heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress and other readings are estimates for following your own training and everyday life. Contact a healthcare provider if you have symptoms or questions about your health.

Description
Amazfit Bip Max is the Bip in a larger format: a square 2.07-inch AMOLED display reaching up to 3,000 nits, so you read notifications, steps and workout data even in bright sunlight. The frame is aluminium alloy and the watch weighs 52.6 g with strap.
According to Amazfit the 550 mAh battery lasts up to 20 days of typical use, 10 days of heavy use and up to 40 hours with continuous GPS. GPS with five satellite systems records your route, and you can import offline maps and routes to see the way on the watch.
With a microphone and speaker you take calls from your phone right on the watch. It is water resistant to 5 ATM and works with Android and iPhone through the Zepp app.
